Mona Oei, Founder & Managing Director

Mona is an experienced Real Estate lawyer.

Mona has more than 20 years of legal experience gained from her previous practices under the realm of Property Law, Commercial Law, Civil Litigation and Family Law.

At present, Mona’s main practice area is in Conveyancing and she is adept in handling the sale, purchase, mortgage and refinancing of commercial, private and HDB properties.

Mona has also handled some high profile Family Law disputes (Divorce), notably the High Court case of Shi Fang v Koh Pee Huat in the 1990s and the divorce between the son of the shipping tycoon and his ex-spouse.

Mona is an amicable and professional senior lawyer who values integrity and justice. She enjoys travelling, swimming, walking her dogs and watching NBA games. Her favourite NBA team is the Golden State Warriors. She also feels very strongly for the causes of dogs and regards herself as their Advocate. She has adopted over 80 dogs since 2008 and houses them in a shelter in Pasir Ris Fairway 2.

Tracy Wang, Associate

Tracy’s main practice areas are Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Debt Recovery and Property Law (Conveyancing).

Over the course of Tracy’s legal experience, she was exposed to a wide variety of civil and criminal litigation work such as personal injury, landlord/tenant disputes, and offences under the Penal Code, Road Traffic Act and Misuse of Drugs Act. Tracy has also handled numerous enforcement of judgments at her previous stints. Her wide experiences allows her to deliver advice and assistance on an array of legal matters, including matters pertaining to property transactions with depth and confidence.

Tracy also has had exposure in dealing with a variety of matrimonial issues such as contentious and non-contentious divorces, maintenance of wife and/or child, custody of children, division of matrimonial assets, mediation and annulment.

Tracy takes pride in her friendly neighbourhood qualities and ensures that her clients understand their legal rights before providing them with the various options.

Tracy is a Pro-Bono volunteer and is an appointed Legal Aid solicitor. Her main drive as a solicitor is to reach out to the less fortunate and to give them a voice of justice.

Koh Jian Ying, Associate

(Litigation - Matrimonial, Civil & Criminal)

Jian Ying’s main practice areas are Family Law, Property Law (Conveyancing), Civil Litigation and Criminal Litigation.

Jian Ying‘s experience in Civil cases includes but not limited Employment disputes, Tenancy disputes, and the Protection from Harassment Act.

During his training contract at Edmond Pereira Law Corporation, he was also exposed to valuable Criminal Litigation experience relating to offences under the Penal Code, Misuse of Drugs Act and Road Traffic Act.

Apart from being a practicing lawyer, Jian Ying is a sports enthusiast and represents Singapore in Water Polo. He was also the team captain for the national u23 team. He has represented Singapore at various major international competitions and is a 4-time South East Asian Games gold medallist, most recently winning gold at the 2017 edition in Kuala Lumpur.

Jian Ying shares the same passion and dedication he has in his sport with his legal practice, and strives to ensure that his clients always obtain the best possible outcome.

Terry Liang, Business Development Manager

Terry is our Business Development Manager, and he is one of the pillars of the firm, having been consistently expanding our firm’s network since he first joined.

Not only does Terry handle the business development aspect for the firm, he is also very experienced and knowledgeable in conveyancing matters having honed his skills in his time at Golden Law, as well as his previous stint as a banker. He will certainly be able to answer most of your conveyancing queries. Furthermore, Terry is a friendly, charismatic and very approachable individual so you would definitely feel at ease with him.

Outside working hours, Terry also has a keen eye for design and illustrating and dabbles in art.

 


 

Johnny Koh, Senior Conveyancing Manager

Johnny is our senior conveyancing manager and he has over 20 years of experience in dealing with conveyancing matters. His wealth of knowledge is a great asset to the firm and he always has an answer to the varying array of questions or problems that clients have.

Mr Koh is particular adept at fractional purchase and HDB matters. He takes great pleasure and pride in his work and this is reflected in the excellent service that he renders.

Mr Koh is also highly proficient in IT and this helps with the firm’s day to day dealings.  

 


 

Kristy Ong, Senior Conveyancing Secretary

Kristy has worked in law firms for more than 30 years started since 1987 after graduating from her A’ Levels. For the first 7 years of her working life, she assisted many senior lawyers in civil litigation, probate & divorce matters including conveyancing. Thereafter, she made the concerted expansion of her legal experience focusing on conveyancing and real estate matters for 23 years now.

Kristy handles the firm’s conveyancing matters, including but not limited to sale and purchase, refinancing, redemption and developer’s sale projects.

On the weekends, Kristy spends her time at the beach for community workouts organised by Health Promotion Board. She enjoys intellectual conversations with people of different views and opinions.

 


 

Vanessa Low, Senior Conveyancing Secretary

Vanessa has been working as a conveyancing secretary since 2007.  She deals with the firm’s conveyancing matters, including but not limited to sale and purchase, developers’ projects, sub-sales and sub-purchases.

Vanessa is very experienced with legal documentation for banks such as DBS, UOB, Maybank, HSBC, Singapura Finance, Hong Leong Finance and Standard Chartered Bank.
