Mona Oei, Founder & Managing Director

Mona is an experienced Real Estate lawyer.

Mona has more than 20 years of legal experience gained from her previous practices under the realm of Property Law, Commercial Law, Civil Litigation and Family Law.

At present, Mona’s main practice area is in Conveyancing and she is adept in handling the sale, purchase, mortgage and refinancing of commercial, private and HDB properties.

Mona has also handled some high profile Family Law disputes (Divorce), notably the High Court case of Shi Fang v Koh Pee Huat in the 1990s and the divorce between the son of the shipping tycoon and his ex-spouse.

Mona is an amicable and professional senior lawyer who values integrity and justice. She enjoys travelling, swimming, walking her dogs and watching NBA games. Her favourite NBA team is the Golden State Warriors. She also feels very strongly for the causes of dogs and regards herself as their Advocate. She has adopted over 80 dogs since 2008 and houses them in a shelter in Pasir Ris Fairway 2.

Grace Tan, Senior Associate

(Divorce, child custody and maintenance)

Grace’s main practice area is in Family Law (Matrimonial Law).

Grace has handled numerous complex Divorce cases (including cases with cross-jurisdictional implications), Child Custody cases (including cases under the International Child Abduction Act) and Maintenance disputes. Grace is a gifted lawyer with a keen legal acumen, and is able to handle high net worth cases.

Grace has consistently obtained good outcomes on behalf of her clients and provided sound legal advice, obviating the need for protracted disputes. Grace is empathetic, with a keen sense of justice for the underdog and is also a Legal Aid Bureau Assigned solicitor. Besides Family Law, Grace also handles Civil Litigation, Probate matters and Conveyancing matters. Grace had previously assisted in the High Court case of Ong Jane Rebecca v PricewaterhouseCoopers and others (2012) SGHC 106.

Grace enjoys community outreach and service to the poor.

Tracy Wang, Associate

(Litigation and Dispute Resolution)

Tracy’s main practice areas are Civil Litigation, Criminal Litigation, Debt Recovery and Property Law (Conveyancing).

Over the course of Tracy’s legal experience, she was exposed to a wide variety of civil and criminal litigation work such as personal injury, landlord/tenant disputes, and offences under the Penal Code, Road Traffic Act and Misuse of Drugs Act. Tracy has also handled numerous enforcement of judgments at her previous stints. Her wide experiences allows her to deliver advice and assistance on an array of legal matters, including matters pertaining to property transactions with depth and confidence.

Tracy takes pride in her friendly neighbourhood qualities and ensures that her clients understand their legal rights before providing them with the various options.

Tracy is a Pro-Bono volunteer and is an appointed Legal Aid solicitor. Her main drive as a solicitor is to reach out to the less fortunate and to give them a voice of justice.

Koh Jian Ying, Associate

Jian Ying’s main practice areas are Property Law (Conveyancing), Civil Litigation and Criminal Litigation.

Jian Ying‘s experience in Civil cases includes but not limited Employment disputes, Tenancy disputes, and the Protection from Harassment Act.

During his training contract at Edmond Pereira Law Corporation, he was also exposed to valuable Criminal Litigation experience relating to offences under the Penal Code, Misuse of Drugs Act and Road Traffic Act.

Apart from being a practicing lawyer, Jian Ying is a sports enthusiast and represents Singapore in Water Polo. He was also the team captain for the national u23 team. He has represented Singapore at various major international competitions and is a 4-time South East Asian Games gold medallist, most recently winning gold at the 2017 edition in Kuala Lumpur.

Jian Ying shares the same passion and dedication he has in his sport with his legal practice, and strives to ensure that his clients always obtain the best possible outcome.

The law firm currently houses a team of 4 other professionals, which is led by our Office Manager, Mr Johnny Koh and which is entirely overseen by Ms Mona Oei, our Managing Partner. This includes two Legal Secretaries, one Legal Clerk, and one Business Development Manager, all of whom are fully conversant and experienced with private property, commercial and HDB-related transactions.
